Joey earned his Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Dubuque and is in the process of completing his Master of Science in Business Analytics from Northwood University. He first learned about True Charity while attending a conference in 2020. Since then he has followed from a distance until the role opened for him to become more involved.
In his role as Director of Strategic Partnerships, Joey is tasked with establishing and cultivating relationships with financial partners and friends of True Charity. He strives to pair the passion and resources of philanthropic-minded people with the mission and vision of True Charity.
Originally from Iowa, Joey now lives in Midland, Michigan where he is actively involved in his church and plays bass for the worship team. He is never one to stay still for long. Some of Joey’s favorite activities are soccer, running, ultimate frisbee, cribbage, reading, meals with friends, music, and interacting with passionate, action-oriented people.
